On the basis of reviewing the connotations of the domestic andinternational ecological system studies,the purpose of this research is touse costanza’s mehtods for calculating ecosystem service value(such asmarket value method,cost expenditure method,shadow engineering method,restore and protection cost method,etc.) to assess and evaluate the urbanecosystem value of xiamen in1999,2001and2009.The study showed that during1999—2009,the forest ecosystem servicevalue of Xiamen in1999was400778.95×10~4Yuan,it increased to506114.86×10~4Yuan in2001, and the value of forest ecosystem servicereduced to264449.71×10~4Yuan in2009, it decreased by34%whichcompared to1999; grassland ecosystem service value increased3.7timesthan that in1999; the loss of farmland ecosystem service value was moreserious; the wetland ecosystem service value increased by41.18%; thetown ecosystem service value became smaller, but because it had anegative value on the environment, the negative impact on the environmentof the town ecosystem was growing.Recreation and research, carbonfixation and oxygen release, water conservation played a dominant part inthe urban ecosystem service function.The study showed that in2009the total value of the urban ecosystemservice function was1735129.76×10~4Yuan,of which the direct usevalue,indirect use value and the non-use value respectively was862553.66×10~4Yuan,820423.1×10~4Yuan,52153×10~4Yuan.The use valuewas about32.27times of the non-use value.The total value of the urbanecosystems service function was wetland>grassland>forest>farmland>town in Xiamen in2009.By comparing the value of ecosystem service function of theforest,grassland,farmland,wetland,etc.in1999,2001and2009, this researchprofoundly analysed the internal causes of value change in the urbanecosystem service function. Based on the results,some proposals and measures was put forward to, which could provide scientific insights forcity planning and sustainable development. |
