A Research On The Relationship Among Environmental Regulation,Corporate Performance And Environmental Information Disclosure

In 2015, the last year in "12th Five-Year" plan, although China made achievements in environmental protection during the past five years, environmental problems still sounded the alarm for us inadvertently.Firstly, this performance reviews the literature review of environmental information disclosure from two aspects of environmental regulation and enterprise performance. Secondly, this performance defines related concepts from three aspects,which are environmental information disclosure, environmental regulation and enterprise performance, and reviews related theory basis, including the sustainable development theory, asymmetric information theory, etc. Finally, as an example, this performance discusses the case of JY company.In the case analysis, this performance introduces the characteristics of the textile industry and the reason for the case analysis of JY company. Then, this performance studies the current situation of JY company’s environmental information disclosure from two aspects, which are the form of disclosure and disclosure content. In the form of disclosure, the result shows that the behavior that JY company reveals environmental information in the form of annual report is in line with the overall situation of the industry. And the behavior that JY company issues environmental report is worth learning and reference by the companies in the industry. In the disclosure of content, although the contents of the JY company disclosed does not meet the industry trend in the overall number, its accounting entries still meet the current situation of the industry. Based on the above, this performance studies the relationship among environmental regulation, corporate performance and JY company’s environmental information disclosure. The result shows that there is a positive correlation between environmental regulation and JY company’s environmental information disclosure. However, there are still a lot of improvements in the specific disclosure behavior of JY company. There is also a positive correlation between corporate performance and JY company’s environmental information disclosure. Furthermore, based on the case analysis of JY company, this performance considers that JY company still has some shortcomings in environmental information disclosure. Therefore, this performance analyses the problems of JY company’s environmental information disclosure from four aspects.Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, this performance puts forward some suggestions on the case study of JY company.Based on the analysis above, it is urgent to gradually improve the company’s disclosure behavior, especially the environmental information disclosure of listed companies in heavy polluting industries.
