In recent years, food safety events happen frequently, Food quality and safety is more and more aroused people's concern. Currently, although domestic and overseas have developed many kinds of food tracing systems, which are used for rice, grapes, red wine,vegetables, pork and so on, there is not a complete tracing system of flour roots. Based on the situation, this paper studies and designs a kind of flour tracing system based on the QR code, The main contents and innovations are as follows:(1) This paper designs the overall function of the flour tracing system on the basis of Flour traceability requirements, mainly including the design of the QR code, the generation and adhesion of the QR code, traceability information and acquisition, traceability information query.(2) The QR code is used as the information carrier to trace the flour. The main idea is to store the information of wheat and wheat production in the database. QR Code plays a link role in the whole process. By scanning equipment after scanning the QR code, we can access the database, so we can query the relevant information of flour traceability. The traceability system not only plays an effective role in regulating the quality of flour, but also provides a guarantee for the food safety of consumers.(3) According to the demand of one bag and one code, we determine the contents of the QR code that is the traceability URL and identification code, which the traceability URL is used for linking and accessing the enterprise server; In order to achieve a bag of a code, this paper uses the global unique identifier (Globally Unique Identifier, GUID) to generate the program of QR code. There is no regularity between any two adjacent QR codes, but the format all adopts the fixed format of GUID identifier.(4) According to the QR code in the plane and cylinder of different application states on the package, the paper studies the reading of different application states respectively.According to the characteristics of QR code on the planar state and cylindrical state, we carried out the experiments that about the reading of QR code on the flour woven bags.(5) This paper presents two kinds of schemes for QR codes, one is based on the non-drying label, the other one is based on the ink printing. The non-drying label makes full use of the modern printing technology, printing the QR code on the he non-drying label and then pasting on the flour sacks. The method is operated simply, but due to the particularity of flour, the viscosity of the non-drying label on the woven bag is reduced, the adhesion effect is not ideal. The scheme of the ink printing adopts inkjet technology. It prints the pre-prepared QR code on the inside of the PP film, then the woven bags are processed by laminating process. This method not only realizes the spray printing of one bag and one code, but also effectively avoids the occurrence of QR codes being damaged or even scratched during transportation.
