Research On The Contributors Of Employee Safety Violation Behavior

In recent years,an increasing number of importance has been attached to work safety by China government.Along with the implementation of increasing investment in production safety,strengthening the support for enterprises and updating the enterprise production technology and so on,work safety situation in China has beening improved year by year,however the personnel casualty is still ongoing.Statistics show that employee violation behavior is one of the important cause of the accidents.As the enterprise production system gradually upgrades and social environment becomes more complicated,employee safety violation behavior will continue to be common problem and make enterprises suffer more loss.At present there exist quite rich research results on safety violation and its contributors at home and abroad,but the definition of employee safety violation is still not clear.Safety violation behavior is leaded by complex formation mechanism,involved with contributors about social psychology,economics,organization and management.We need to further explore the interaction relationship between the contributors influencing the violation and get the key ones.Through literature review,this paper obtains the definition of safety violation behavior,gets the basic classification for all kinds of safety violation behavior,identifies the factors influencing the violation preliminary.Based on the 4M Theory,5 kinds of primary contributors are indentified.And then based on literature review of 57 safety articles,267 secondary contributors were extracted.By mergering,splitiing and eliminating these factor indices,25 factor indices were deposited and were divided according to primary contributors including individual factors,group factor,job characteristics,organization and management,safety culture.In order to get the effect degree of factors indices to violation and the interaction relationship between the factors influencing the violation,the 25 factor indices were analyzed by Integrated DEMATEL-ISM.Through the established four-steps structure model,two fundamental contributors influencing the violationhave been identified,inclueding rule itself and safety leadership.In the end,according to the resulting data and the four-steps structure model,the paper takes domestic practical situation and then provide some suggestions.
