| Wetlands are natural or artificial marshes with static or flowing bodies of water,including water of depth no more than six meters at low tide waters.Wetlands,forests and oceans are the world’s three major ecosystems,widely distributed throughout the world.A large number of plants and animals live in the wetland ecosystem,and many wetlands have been classified as nature reserves.In the late 20th century,as a result of wetland reclamation,excessive use of biological resources,wetlands environmental pollution,urban construction and blind development of tourism and other irrational use,the wetland ecosystem degenerates which causes the wetlands shrink,the water quality declining,biodiversity reduced and even the wetland function lost.There is an urgent need for wetland protection,restoration and reconstruction.1)The current situation of wetland in Yanling is mainly composed of river wetland,marsh wetland and artificial wetland.The river wetland is the main body of the natural wetland in Yanling county.The area of Alpine swamp wetland is the largest in the province2)the wetland of YanLing is rich in biodiversity,rare and endangered species,wetland resources,wetland landscape tourism resources unique advantages3)But due to the recent development of human factors,especially the construction of hydropower station in flood,wetlands in Yanling county health threat,mainly reflected a growing in pest,economic development and wetland protection contradiction,river wetland water retention problem is serious,the pest is growing,wetland protection management mechanism is not smooth,the government and the masses the ecological function of wetland protection awareness is not strong,and the wetland protection measures and research is relatively weak.4)According to the present situation and protection of wetland resources in Yanling county are put forward from the land and water use management,wetland biodiversity conservation,pollution control and management of wetland,wetland restoration management and sustainable utilization demonstration to strengthen wetland protection and avoid excessive development. |
