| The design of the fabric fold from the form can be divided into regular fold and irregular fold.The fabric design,as one type of fashion design modeling element,has been paid much attention by the fashion designers for a long time.In the current society with the more and more fierce competition among all the fashion brands,more and more abundant fashion design modeling as well as the pursuit of the unique personality of people,fabric fold designing technique becomes a very important modeling tool applied in the design of the fashion designers in the modern society.Infinite imagination and creation powers are given to the fabrics for designing clothes by the fashion designers.They will make a second processing to various types of the one-step processing fabrics in the market provided by the manufacturers so as to form an unique expression of innovation-fold design.The regular folds in the fabrics have a strong sense of order,spatial hierarchy and decorative ability.It is a modeling with distinctive visual effect and suitable for hand-made.This paper summarized its basic designing principles,aesthetic principles and expression principles through the in-depth analysis and study.Meanwhile this paper explores its application in the women leisure design.Due to the influences of the rapid pace of social development and the current popular "leisure and healthy" concept of life,the sale of women’s leisure clothings is much higher than that of the other types of clothing in the women’s clothing market.Women leisure has become the ainstream of all the fashion styles in the women’s clothing market.Women leisure design at this time is imed at the city white collar women.They are devoted to the lifestyle of regularity and order.They have spiritual pursuit for comfort,freedom and self-liberation.It is mainly through the application and performance of the regular fold fabrics in the casual and comfortable cocoon-style women lothing.The author states the feasibility of regular fold application in the design of women leisure through the three-dimensional regular fold design and practice in the design of women’s leisure clothing.In this women leisure design,the hand-made regular fold is adopted in the design of women eisure due to equipment shortage and limitations of the technology and other conditions.Regular folds of the fabric has a strong sense of order,spatial hierarchy and strong decorative ability.It is a type of modeling with distinctive visual effect in the fabric design technique element.This paper organizes and summarizes intensively the designing principles of the regular fold.It summarized the basic designing principles,aesthetic principles and expression principles that we should follow in the practical study of the regular fold.The design and practical application of the regular fold are carried out with the guidance of these principles.The leisure clothing series is designed and produced--Walking in the City,which is an expression of the spiritual pursuit for freedom,comfort and self-liberation of the urban women. |
