| The water-based VAE emulsion adhesives have many advantages,such as environmental protection,good bond performance,moderate cost and so on.So its development is rapid,and it has an irreplaceable position in fast packagingespecially.Although there are many excellent properties of VAE emulsion adhesives,but its stick performance of non-polar materials and high temperature bond performance do not meet the real requirement.In this paper adpotting homemade self-crosslinking vinegar acrylic emulsion to modify VAE emulsion adhesives to enhance its stick performance,and apply it to product hat boxes which producted in automatic machine of cover heaven and earth box.The research content is as follows:1.The synthesis and performance of the self-crosslinking vinegaracrylic emulsion: Through infrared spectrum analysis,VAc and MMA,BA,EHA,MAA,DAAM are involved in the polymerization reaction,The hydrazone base is generated in the DAAM/ADH crosslinking reaction has an characteristic absorption peak of 1650.3cm-1,DAAM/ADH crosslinking system occurs between latex particles,making the Tg of self-crosslinking vinegar acrylic emulsion increase by 10%;With gradually increasingthe dosage of compound emulsifier,the monomer conversion and gel rate gradually decrease,and when wcomposite emulsifier>4%,the monomer conversion rate changes little,and no gel.When the dosage of emulsifier is small,it has certain gel anda fairly large viscosity,so the optimal dosage is wcomposite emulsifier = 4%.The compound emulsifier promotes the monomer conversion,reflecting the association effect,and the monomer conversion is more than 99.0%.Among them,when the proportion of compound emulsifier is OP-10:SDS:SR-10=2:1:1,OP-10:SDS:ER-10=1:2:1,its monomer conversion rate reach 99.7%,it can meet the industry standard demands of residual monomer amount 0.5% or less;With increasing the amount of DAAM,the degree of crosslinking firstly increases then decreases,and water absorption firstly decreases then increases,and peel strength firstly increases then decreases.The dosage of DAAM has little influence on the emulsion particle size,the emulsion appearance and the monomer conversion,but when WDAAM>5%,the viscosity of emulsion,storage stability and gel rate change obviously.Considering the optimal dosage is WDAAM =5%;With dropping the ratio of msoft monomer: mhard monomer,glass transition temperature of the emulsion increased,and the contact angle between emulsion and ABS plastic board decreases,as well as peel strength of latex film increases first and then decreases.when msoft monomer:mhard monomer =45:45,the peel strength is 13.6 N/cm,so the optimal dosage is msoft monomer:mhard monomer =45:45.2.The preparation and application of water-based adhesive applied to paper-plastic stick:Through the analysis of the thermodynamic criterion,Fourier infrared spectrum analysis,DSC analysis,acrylate emulsion and the VAE emulsion can miscibility.The contact angle for ABS plastic of Vinegar acrylic emulsion blending modification of VAE emulsions decrease,their type respectively is 8010 and 920,improving its wettability;The comprehensive performance of different types of VAE emulsion adhesives from high to low in turn is: 8010 base > EAF68 base > 920 base > 707 k base.The joints of 707 k base adhesive is given priority to with interface failure,and the joints of 920 base adhesive is given priority to lack of cohesion failure,and other failure modes is mixture.Through the orthogonal experiment analysis,we can get with increasing the proportion of the vinegar acrylic emulsion,the stick performance improved,and when the dosage of vinegar acrylic emulsion is 20%,the stick performance is optimal;Through self-crosslinking vinegar acrylic emulsion modified VAE emulsion adhesives used in automatic machine of cover heaven and earth box,exploring that the effect of adhesive is best when m8010: m920 =50:20.a molding percent of pass is 93%,low temperature test percent of pass is 93%,high temperature test percent of pass is 91%,basically meet the actual requirement.Determine the formula of water-based adhesives which can be applied to the real production. |
