A Study On The Child Safety Of Medicine Packaging Moderate Obstacle Design

In recent decades,drug intoxication in children is a widespread phenomenon in many countries,the news about serious consequences of children mistaking drugs are often being seen.This shows that intoxication of children mistaking drugs has gradually become a danger to children's life safety and health.Drug is directly related to patient's health and life safety.Thus,pharmaceutical supervisory and administrative departments of countries around the world have strict rules on drug packaging.With the development of medical technology,medicine packaging design should not only pay attention to drug safety,efficacy and stability,but also should take into account the patient's psychological and emotional needs.Children's health is related to the happiness and hope of every family,and to the future of the society the country.Generally,children would resist taking drugs with special smell,but it is also possible that they mistake drugs out of curiosity,which may cause intoxication or death.Children are usually good at imitation and full of curiosity to the surroundings.If parents have slack supervision,there's possible danger of children mistaking drugs,which will cause harm to their bodies.Nowadays,function is no longer the only concern of commodity packaging design,people pursue more humanized packaging design.It is the same with pharmaceutical packaging,especially for the drugs for the old,which tends to emphasize barrier-free design.But the barrier-free design based on the elderly may be the least humanized design for the children.The biggest danger is that it can be easily acquired and eaten by the children.In order to ensure the safety of children,this paper mainly discusses the strategy and method of drug packaging design based on the children's safety.In addition to follow the basic principle of general packaging design,child safety drug packaging design must also consider how to use packaging materials and design packaging structure more scientifically,to ensure the children cannot get the medicines easily in a short period of time without the guardian.At the same time,special drug packaging visual communication design is also an important factor to be considered when designing child safety packaging.This paper adheres to the researchprinciples such as combination of theory and practice,and combination of "case to theory" and "theory to practice�,using methods of literature study,investigation study,case study and comparative study,to make a systematic research on child safety drug packaging.First of all,this paper uses "safety" as the theoretical basis,combined with the characteristics of children's psychology and behavior,starting from the drug packaging structure,to state the importance of drug packaging to child safety.Secondly,it extends to the visual effect of packaging,closely links child safety,packaging structure and visual communication together,to summarize the design concept and method of child-resistant drugs packaging.Say from the application,on the basis of investigation and research,this paper analyzes the basis of child safety drugs packaging,drawing lessons from advantages and strategies of various foreign cases,to explore �barrier design� on the structure,graphics,color and text of drug packaging.
