As the main carrier of manufacturing, CNC machine tools, it is an important task for manufacturing enterprises to ensure its proper operation. Therefore, the maintenance management of CNC machine tools has gained more and more attention of enterprises. Due to its function on reducing the occasion of ”excess repairing” ” inadequate maintenance”, and reducing maintenance waste, risk-based maintenance decision has been given more attention by domestic and overseas manufacturing and it has developed into one of the future trend of equipment manufacturing maintenance managements. Under this background, the aim of this paper is to give an fault risk assessment for CNC machine tools' maintenance management and do a research on maintenance decision-making. The research content main includes:First, regarding the fixture system where the misfunction happens most frequently as the specific research object, carrying on the qualitative analysis to its malfunction. Meanwhile, basing on the grey correlation analysis method to study the numerical control machine tool fault mode static risk, and on this basis, the establishment of a risk based on static maintenance decision model, finally combining with the actual situation of numerical control machine tool equipment or components for maintenance decision-making.The second, obtaining the fault consequences of the CNC machine tools according to FMEA analysis, assessing the health status of CNC machine tools based on the routine check data, then combining both methods to establish operational risk assessment model. Finally, establish CNC machine tool maintenance decision-making model with the importance degree of CNC machine tools, based on the risk of CNC equipment operation. The model can make decisions in three aspects: 1 decision for opportunity of equipment maintenance 2 decision for order of equipment maintenance 3 Adjustment of equipment inspection planningIn short, this article mainly make a research on CNC from fault of CNC machine tools, operation risk of equipment, and some other aspects, which also offers a basis for CNC maintenance decision-making analysis and research.
