| Over the years, with increasing living standards and swelling world population, more and more municipal solid wastes(MSW) were produced, among which food waste accounts for a significantly large proportion. Currently, Changsha is preparing for municipal solid wastes classification. After the implementation of the classification, the difficulty of environmental sanitation is going to be the collection and transportation of food waste. Food waste has large moisture content and is liable to rot and produce odor, which determines that specific collection and transportation model should be adopted. Appropriate food waste collection and transportation model is the foundation of MSW source classification, which would guarantee MSW classified disposal. Therefore, this paper analyzes and optimizes the food waste collection and transportation model of Changsha.This article introduces the current situation of food waste collection, transportation and disposal both in China and abroad, besides the relevant theories and methods of MSW collection and transportation assessment system. It analyzes the factors contributing to the food waste collection and transportation model, and creats an assessment system on the basis of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation: The assessment indexes consist of subjective indexes which include economic indexes and efficiency indexes, and objective indexes which include environmental impact indexes and technical difficulty indexes. The weigh of subjective indexes are endowed by Entropy Method and the weigh of objective indexes are endowed by the combination of Expert Scoring Method and Entropy Method. Finally, the most applicable model is decided by Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation.Based on the experience in China and abroad as well as the current situation in Changsha, this article presents four food waste collection and transportation models.: Traditional hanging bin vehicle model, mobile vessel model, dedicated food waste vehicle model and classified vehicle model. The traditional hanging bin vehicle model is excluded because bad sealing property. Referring to the assessment system presented above, the scores of the rest three models were 70.23, 83.39 and 61.13. Therefore, the most appropriate food waste collection and transportation model is dedicated food waste vehicle model while mobile vessel model takes the second place. The most inappropriate is classified vehicle model. |
