Acylhydrazone is a kind of Schiff base which contains O,N and other donor atoms. It is readily to coordinate to transition metal ions, and give complexes with versatile structures.Among the complexes, vanadium complexes derived from acylhydrazones showed interesting biological activities, including anti-bacterial,anti-inflammatory activity,insulin-like activity. In this paper, based on the previous work, maltol ligands were used to prepare vanadium complexes with potential insulin-like activity. And,acetohydroxamate ligands were used to prepare vanadium complexes with potential urease inhibitory activity.According to a number of literature,20 new vanadium complexes have been synthesized and structurally characterized. In addition,insulin-like activity and urease inhibitory activity of some complexes were studied. This paper is divided into five parts:1.Five vanadium complexes with acylhydrazone as primary ligands, and with maltol as secondary ligands have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis,IR spectroscopy,TG-DTA analysis and UV spectroscopy.2.Nine vanadium complexes with acylhydrazone as primary ligands, and with ethyl maltol as secondary ligands have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis,IR spectroscopy,TG-DTA analysis and UV spectroscopy.3.Three vanadium complexes with acylhydrazone as primary ligands, and with8-hydroxyquinoline as secondary ligands have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis,IR spectroscopy,TG-DTA analysis and UV spectroscopy.4.Three vanadium complexes with acylhydrazone as primary ligands, and with different hydroxamic acid as secondary ligands have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis,IR spectroscopy,TG-DTA analysis and UV spectroscopy.5.Insulin-like activity and urease inhibitor activity of some complexes have been studied. |
