Research On User-Centered Of Special Function Bags For The Elderly

China has entered the aging society,but the product design and development specially intended for the aged is still quite deficient.With the increase of ages,the physiological function of the old starts to decline,their vision begins to decrease,their sense of taste and smell becomes insensitive,their coordination becomes weak and their ability of thinking is descending.As a result,their needs for living goods also change and they even begin to have brand new product requirements.Many products in current market are basically designed for the young,so it is quite difficult to adapt to them.With the gradual expansion of the market for the old,daily goods intended for the old's physiological and mental needs have become an irresistible trend.As the most frequently-used storage tool,the bag is one of the necessities for daily travel.As for most old people,they will bring many things when going out,and it is quite common that can't find what they store.Currently,apart from exquisite and various types,there are many multi-function backpacks in the market designed for different consumer groups,such as multi-function outdoor traveling bags for the young who like traveling,multi-function camera bags,modularized multi-function first-aid packets and multi-function bags for students.However,most target client bases are basically young consumers,so there are still some defects in the needs for the aged.Because of the old people's special requirements for products caused by their special cognition,behavior and physiological changes,it is quite necessary to have a deep research over their various experience functions.In this article,the research is carried out based on the user-centered design method,taking the aged over 60 years old who have common needs for bags as research targets.Based on the analysis of the old people's physiological features and mental features,by means of questionnaires,user observation,user interview,user role and user situational analysis,the author analyzes and studies the old's potential needs for functional bags.On the basis of it,the design comparable data is defined and the research and design of the model is made so as to create special and satisfactory purpose packets which can satisfy their needs.The research result is beneficial to the safety and health of the aged,which can at the same time provide data for reference for the design practice of the exclusive goods of the old people.
