In this paper,first we introduce the properties,applications and industrial synthesis method of hydrogen peroxide: direct oxidation method,isopropyl alcohol method,electrolytic process and anthraquinone.Then we focuses on anthraquinone,include working-solution preparation,hydrogenation,oxidization,extraction,purification and concentration.In the process of the hydrogenation and oxidization,2-ethyl anthraquinone will be changed into four hydrogen-2-ethyl anthraquinone,producing by-products.Although by-products formed slowly,but if it happened once,it will reduce the effective content of 2-ethyl anthraquinone and hydrogen-2-ethyl anthraquinone in working solution.At the same time,it will impact the quality of the working-solution.For example,resulting in increase of its density,viscosity,water in working-solution,affectting the normal production,at last reducing the quality of the products.So it is necessary to detect anthraquinone in hydrogen peroxide working-solution.Then we introduce three methods to detect anthraquinone in hydrogen peroxide working-solution: k-ratio method,polarography and high performance chromatography(gas and liquid).Then we focuses on high performance liquid chromatography,include its theory,experiment conditions and steps,the treatment of analyzing datas and the analyse error.Last,through the experiment,we used CH3OH/H2 O as flowing,C18 filling chromatogram columumn.It thoroughly separated 2-ethyl anthraquinone and hydrogen-2-ethyl anthraquinone from hydrogen peroxide production and checked by ultraviolet ray visible light detector.Last we detect the content of 2-Ethyl anthraquinone and four hydrogen-2-Ethyl anthraquinone in hydrogen peroxideworking-solution by external standard method.And we use internal standard method verify the experiment results,it reflects high performance liquid chromatography have high accuracy and precision.
