Chilren's Beds Of Growth Design In Two-child Family

Since selective two-child policy in 2013 to open two-child policy now,the family structure in Chinese cities is facing the most of the one-child families accounted for more and more two children families.Children's furniture market as an emerging industry,after decades of development,along with the increase of market demand in recent years,spring up like the mushrooms,the industry maturity is growing.However,the growing economic efficiency of the industry does not match the lack of domestic children's furniture product desig.With the change of domestic urban family structure put forward new requirements to the children's furniture market,the children's furniture industry need a new designing ideas that is a user-centric and following the background of the transition to adapt to the domestic children's furniture market demand urgently.In this paper,we studyed children aged 3-12 in the two children family structure to explore how to make a set of children's bed can be accompanied by the growth of two children in the these families and extend the life cycle of children's bed in the two-child family.This article through three user surveys to study user needs:at first,by the children's bed consumers survey,analysised of children's bed consumers' basic needs on price,materials,functions;the second,surveyed the children's bed users – the children's psychological and physical characteristics analysised the physical and mental development of the particularity of the children in two-child families,finally by combining quantitative and qualitative research method,and the target population questionnaire survey to explore the unreasonable existing two in the use of children's bed and the user's difficulties encountered,limitations and their causes;the final comprehensive study and analysis of growth is the second child family structure under the children's bed design of the important needs.Combined with the above study to explore the two-child family structure under the growth of children's bed design principles,in addition to the basic use of the adjustable,to adapt to the children's psychological development needs in the two-child family,including the balance between the two children privacy and communication and attention to the equitable distribution of space.Because of the children's number increase in the two-family,make full use of indoor space is also one of the important principles.Based on the results of user research,combined with the design principle,the paper discussesed the design method of children's bed under the two-family structure: including the growth of scale,the growth of decorative color,the growth of function,especially the growth of function is the most important design needs in two-child family,through the combination of functional modules and replacement,functional conversion to satisfy the different use needs of children in two-child family,maintenance of children's privacy,to adapt to different housing conditions.Based on the proposed design principles and methods,this paper made the design practice exploration,and designed the growth children' bed under the two-child family structure that is cost-saving and accord with the children 's development.In the process of study of growth children' bed under the two-child family structure,it is used child psychology,ergonomics,psychology and other interdisciplinary research methods.Comprehensive use of literature research,questionnaire survey,in-depth interviews,and used a variety of research methods including that combining with qualitative research and quantitative research.
