Recently, people from all walks of life, both at home and broad are increasingly concerned about product quality and safety. To handle the various problems arising from the commercialization process, product information along the supply chain are made public. At the same time, product information tracing system is designed, developed and used to ensure the benign development of products throughout the industry chain.Tracing the whole tea leaves supply chain through Wechat means keeping tea production process under supervision of the public. It enables consumers to exercise their rights to know, which boots their confidence in tea’s quality and safety and as a result can raise the safety level in tea production.The main contents are as following:1.Before describing the purpose and value of the research, and putting forward the way of conducting the research, the paper first discusses the background and significance of the tracking system applied in the producing and selling process, and outlines the current research progress and application prospect of tracking system both at home and abroad.2. Based on the study of tea supply chain and its quality and safety, the general design and demand analysis of the research topic mainly include the content of tea source tracing system, its orchestration,system structure, division of the system function modules, database design, the structure and connection among database tables, and the software and hardware structures of the system.3.The paper introduces related techniques concerning the study, including Wechat public platform, ASP.NET, C sharp, SQL SERVER, Advanced Encryption Standard, QR code, Model View Controller and their features and functions in the study. Besides, comparisons between these techniques and other similar techniques are also drawn in the paper to explain why these techniques are preferable.4. According to ASP.NET MVC mode, the whole system is divided into Input Logic Layer,Business Logic Layer and User Interface Logic Layer. The design pattern ensures the functioning of different modules such as records management module, RM management module, production base management module, quality tracking module, GAP management module, system service module, system management module and quality tracing module of tea leaves.
