With the rapid development of manufacturing, such as light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance and good physical properties and mechanical properties of aluminum alloy has been a large number of applications, with the improvement of the welding process, the application of aluminum alloy welding products increasingly the more extensive. Traditional X-ray defect detection mainly rely on Artificial judgment, the test results easily influenced by human factors. The film is easy to destroy and inconvenience to save, more and more difficult to adapt to the development of production. With the development of computer technology, computer-aided techniques for detecting defects in film will be the mainstream ray detection technology development in future. Currently this area attract a lot of attention from researchers, however, most of this work is still at the laboratory stage, to make these techniques to engineering applications, the first thing need to solve is its reliability. The method of the present project from the digitized weld radiographs start with, carry out information research integrity and reliability of digital-ray detectors and automated defect assessment, attempt to ray detection technology welded structure to build a bridge from manual mode to the automatic mode.In this paper, the relationship built with the optical density of the film industry and digitized gray value between the transfer characteristic curve, the realization of the film gray information integrity evaluation; In seam detection respect, based on detecting entire seam area and seam edge two thoughts departure achieve four seam detection algorithm, detection experiment by the sample database film welds made on the reliability of the algorithm was evaluated; In defect detection respect, we have achieved three algorithms, the same experimental approach to its reliability made the evaluation; In digital film image information display integrity respect, from how to display 16-bit industry film and reflects its image information integrity view, the use of local and global display shows two sub policy implementation segment display, logarithmic display and pseudo-color display.
