Effects Of Employment On Environmental Regulation From The Perspective Of Endogenous Economic Growth

This paper aims to study environmental regulations and employment relations were analyzed and employment impact of environmental regulation mechanism of the theoretical and empirical aspects from both qualitative and quantitative, causes interaction between a view to making appropriate policy recommendations and opinions.First, the paper discusses the environmental pollution, environmental regulation and research status of employment and related theoretical reference; secondly, a literature review of domestic and foreign scholars environmental regulations and employment research. Among them, some scholars believe that environmental regulations will produce negative employment impact that environmental regulations on employment "substitution effect"; most scholars existence "U" shaped relationship between environmental regulation and employment through theoretical and empirical think that can be achieved environmental Regulation and employment "double dividend", which are mostly based on data from developed countries, developing countries, including my research are rare. Results:(1) environmental regulation time items significantly negative, the quadratic term is significantly positive, that environmental regulations and employment exist "U" shaped relationship;(2)there are differences between various regions, the eastern region has been the first to cross the turning point has been achieved environmental regulation and employment "double dividend"; the central region is approaching an inflection point value, the western region is still in the environmental regulation results in a negative impact on employment stage, the need for further strengthening of environmental regulation, in order as soon as possible across the inflection point;(3)environmental regulations Effects of different industry employment also exists differences, environmental regulations restrict the development of the second major industry, environmental regulation obvious "U" shaped relationship of secondary industry, primary industry and tertiary industry development is the presence of an inverted " U " shaped relationship, so in the formulation of policy should also take into account industry differences;(4)threshold effects and impulse response Positive much more to further validate the environmental regulations exist threshold on employment and upgrading of industrial structure adjustment is conducive to environmental regulations and employment "double dividend." Thus, the need for greater environmental regulation, and promote upgrading of industrial structure adjustment.
