The separating system of the 8×104 t/a ethylbenzene unit applied the newest industrial technology of FCC offgas for ethylbenzene production which has been co-developed by Dalian Institute of physical and Chemical Sciences, Fushun Petrochemical Company and HQC(LN). This technology applies alkylation reaction and transalkylation reaction in separate reactors, which is full of molecular sieve, this processing route has unique advantage in separating system of FCC offgas for ethylbenzene production.This thesis introduced and made the comparisons about FCC offgas for ethylbenzene separating system used in 8×104 t/a ethylbenzene unit. Refer to the newest industrial FCC offgas for ethylbenzene separating process used in 8×104 t/a ethylbenzene unit, the processing simulation software has been applied to simulate and calculate the unit separating system and analyze the dynamic model, on the basis of which made the comparisons of separating indexes and energy consumption. Process simulation used the data that provided by certain petrochemical plant, which is the real operated data, the applied physical equation is SRK that embedded in the simulation software, through the vapour-liquid equilibrium and material physical properties, by means of appropriate split stream method, convergence method and equipments calculation sequence, the convergence could be achieved quickly. By the comparison of the real operating data, the process simulation data of the unit separating system is very similar to that in real production, the result of which leads to the best design plan and optimized operating conditions of the separating system.
