Research On The Ecological Technology Innovation Of PO/MTBE Product Production

Along with the development of economy and technologies, reasonable allocation of limited resources has become the key to survival and development of enterprises. To protect the ecological environment, to meet the increasingly stringent environmental requirement, to take the necessary measures to reduce energy consumption and to realize clean production and other means to implement the ecological construction of enterprises, all of them are very important for achieving the sustainable development, which is crucial in the future.As the basic industry of the national economy and social development, the petrochemical industry plays an irreplaceable role in many fields. However, the traditional " high input, too much waste, low utilization efficiency" of the use of resources in a way not only has caused tremendous damage to the environment, but brought difficulty to establish sustainable development of the industry. China's petrochemical industry has many factories. Because they always consume enormous resources and produce huge wastes, how to efficiently allocate resources and preserve energy and make resources, environment and economy balanced are extremely important for the future of the petrochemical industry. Based on this background, the paper analyzed and studied the ecological innovation of technology of Yantai Wanhua PO/MTBE plant to explore the ecological construction of China's petrochemical enterprises, trying to take energy saving, clean production and other measures to enhance the sustainable development of enterprises.This paper first describes the background of the ecological construction of the petrochemical industry and defines the significance of the study and also states the study status and methods of domestic and international industrial ecology construction, and then introduces the industrial ecology and its related theories. According to what mentioned above, regards the technologies innovation of Yantai Wanhua PO/MTBE plant as a successful case to study the construction of ecological petrochemical enterprises. The plant is the only one PO/MTBE plant which has been built in China, using the process patent technology of American HUNTSMAN company. The process technology originate from PNPP factory which has a set of similar plant built in 90's in the united states. In energy saving, clean production and other aspects, engineers had done a large number of technological innovation for the "new plant" before it was built. Herein, the "old one" and "new one" will be compared, using performance and data as basis for study. Besides, combine the industrial ecology theory with petrochemical industry to construct the eco oriented enterprises.Through study of this paper, it is aimed to provide theoretical and practical reference for the construction of the petrochemical enterprises in our country, so as to promote the development of energy saving, environmental protection and green sustainable development.
