With the development of automation technology, automatic solid warehouse was widely used in the production and circulation field of various industries. The use of automatic solid warehouse in sorting system for custom furniture board is not only a bold attempt and innovation, but also it can improve custom furniture board manufacturer’ production efficiency and enterprise competitiveness and promote the level of industrial automation in furniture industry. It analyzed and researched the sorting system for custom furniture’ automatic solid warehouse thoroughly on the basis of summarizing and referencing other automatic solid warehouse in this thesis. Then, it designed an automatic solid warehouse, which applied to the sorting system.First, it started from layout of the whole sorting system. The system wassymmetrical distribution, so it can satisfy the demand of logistics, use the space reasonably and be easy to design and expand the control system. It designed the logistics equipment and function implementation devices of the automatic solid warehouse and built the basic structure of control system. The system adopted three-level distrusted computer control: management layer, monitoring layer and control layer. Each layer achieved different functions.Second, it analyzed and researched the optimization of solid warehouse’s goods allocation and high rack stacker’s control scheme. The optimization of solid warehouse’s goods allocation is always the emphasis of automatic solid warehouse’s research. It established mathematical model of the solid warehouse’s goods allocation optimization, according to the boards’ different sorting strategy and principles. It was used Genetic Algorithms to solve the problem after learn it well. The simulation result showed that Genetic Algorithms was feasible to this problem. High rack stacker’s control scheme is the key technique of automatic solid warehouse. According to practical situation and other relevant control scheme, it designed the control scheme of the high rack stacker in this project. It used the BPS, frequency converter and PLC to achieve high rack stacker’s semi-closed loop control.At last, it introduced the hardware configuration of control system and software configuration of monitoring system. The control system used Siemens S7-300 PLC as the master and ET200 S as the station to construct a distributed control. The communication system was built by Industrial Ethernet and PROFIBUS-DP. It used SIMATIC Win CC V7.0 to design the monitoring system and SIMATIC Win CC flexible to design the touch screen control interface.
