Research Of Hip-hop Clothing Elements Application In Modern Fashion Design

With the communication and collision of the global culture and economy, The changing of people's aesthetic views and values, the diversified development of apparel industry has been gradually deepening. In today's society, people pay more attention to the choice of healthy and comfortable way of life, as well as the unique expression of personality, to complete the self recognition,realize self value. Performance in the clothing,is that most people want to have a more chic style in the dress selection and distinctive style of clothing. Therefore, in order to better meet consumer groups on the new environment of cultural and aesthetic needs, enhance the brand competitiveness of products in the market, the introduction of artistic elements to enhance the design level to give the product specific cultural connotation is undoubtedly a feasible path.This paper is on the basis of hip-hop culture and hip-hop clothing theory research, combined with the modern fashion design theory and method, with a hip hop clothing elements in fashion design application as the theme. First,the origin and development of hip-hop culture and hip-hop clothing is discussed, summarizes its unique representative features, typical design elements, the analysis of the application of these methods and value of the characteristics of elements in modern clothing design. Then the application of hip-hop elements in the modern fashion design is put forward more innovative ways and means to carry out practical verification. The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:1 By reading and analysis of relevant literature, summarized the image data, and analysis the status of modern clothing brand design, expounds the meaning of the subject of the research and application of hip-hop clothing elements in modern fashion design.2 Analysis the background, social and cultural basis, and consumer characteristics of hip hop culture and hip-hop clothing, summed up the deep association in culture between hip-hop clothing elements and modern fashion design, make guidance to the specific application of hip-hop clothing elements in modern clothing design.3 On the basis of analysis of the successful design features in the shape, pattern and other aspects of the market of the hip-hop clothing products, summarizes the application rules of hip-hop clothing elements in modern fashion design:fashion-oversize,art-graffiti, decorative dynamic, conspicuous accessories.And then,analyze and research the application of these elements in modern fashion design rules: practical exaggeration, feeling fun, collision fusion, etc., as well as the mutual coordination and integration of these elements and the mainstream culture, product design method, from the perspective of update for clothing product design to provide a broader development.4 At the end of this paper, on the basis of the above analysis,summed up the rules of the concrete practice of hip-hop clothing elements in fashion design, through a series of clothing cal ed "LAZY DAY" of the design and practice of the whole production process, confirm the results of the research of this paper.
