With the rapid development of the national economy in recent years, the problem of municipal solid waste is becoming more prominent than before.Dealing with the increasing municipal solid waste causes problems such as the waste of land resources, air pollution and so on. These problems make residents more difficult to enjoy their lives, even restrict the development of cities. So it is a big problem. Making municipal solid waste recycling, reduction, harmless is imperative. As the capital of China and a large city in China, the rapid growth of domestic municipal solid waste in Beijing is also particularly severe. It occupies lots of land resources, human, financial and other resources and becomes a prominent problem attracting lots of attention of public. In recent years, Beijing pay more attention to the research of the management system of the municipal solid waste.Lots of projects to make the garbage harmless have been made, and have achieved good results. Predicting the amount of municipal solid waste accurately is very important to the municipal solid waste management system.This paper analyzes the 2004-2014 Beijing municipal solid waste generation. Meantime on the basis of the study of municipal solid waste delivering quantity forecasting at home and abroad,this paper also build municipal solid waste multiple regression model, BP neural network model, support vector machine model and multiple regression combined model, BP neural network combined model, support vector machine combined model to predict the quantity of Beijing municipal solid waste.The results show that when we use multiple regression combined model to forecast the municipal solid waste in Beijing, the error of the prediction is smaller, and it has a stable predictive ability, etc., So it is a good model of the Beijing municipal solid waste generation forecast. The multiple regression combined model predict that the Beijing municipal solid waste generation delivering quantity will be 6.2909 million tons in 2020.
