Laos Rural Ecological Environment Protection Research

The rural ecological environment is a highly complex issue. Laos is an agricultural country, rural ecological environmental problems directly affect the country's economic and social progress. For a long time, Laos focus on the ecological environment protection in the cities, but not give due attention to the rural environment. This paper analyzed basic situation of rural ecological environment protection and the existing problems from the land resources, water resources, forest resources, biological diversity;and analyzed reasons from villager, government, enterprises and social organizations, and put forward some suggestions of perfecting Laos rural ecological environment protection. Research suggested that the government should increase investment in rural environmental protection funds, improve the environmental protection laws and regulations, strict environmental protection law enforcement; The villagers should improve the rural environment infrastructure construction, strengthen rural environmental protection publicity and encourage farmers to autonomous management; Enterprises should rational plan rural enterprises development, strengthen the regulation of industrial pollution sources,build ecological agriculture; Social organization should improve farmers' environmental protection consciousness, promote rural economic development and environmental protection to strengthen the interaction with the government.
