The rail switch is an important device of underground transportation system. Rail switch control technology is advanced or not, not only affects the transport efficiency of mine transportation system and orderly production, even relates to the safety of personnel and property. At present, there are many backward transportation system in domestic mine enterprises, this highly restricted the enterprises to improve their production efficiency, and to be a hidden danger for safe driving in mine transportation system.According to the transportation demand of iron ore mine by rail transport, this paper put forward a set of automatic control system design scheme for mine transportation automation. Based on traditional switch control mode, this paper proposes a new, intelligent and fully automatic control method, this is such a method that field controller which is self-developed make decisitions independently to complete switch control according to the locomotive ID information obtained with the help of RFID technology and the information of path planning pre-stored in its ROM. The technical implementation of this approach are analyzed and designed as a key task from the perspective of system design in this paper.Transportation automatic control system in this paper can be roughly divided into three layers from the structure: the PC monitoring layer, network communication layer and field layer. Firstly, this paper analyzes the functional requirements of the system, introduces the design task, on this basis, it proposes the overall design scheme of the control system. the overall design scheme of the system is described from system architecture and composition, network structure design analysis and system design process and other aspects. Second, the design and research of network communication layer and field layer of the system is described as a very important part in this paper. Finally, this paper summarizes the work carried out. In the design of network communication layer, in order to meet the system data transmission with high real-time and high reliability requirements, this system uses the CAN bus technology. Based on actual needs, this paper designed the CAN application layer protocol, and independently developed a controller which is regarded as the intelligent node of CAN network, controller design for both software and hardware are introduced. Design of field layer mainly includes the design of RFID-based locomotive positioning subsystem and rail switch control subsystem. Design of the two subsystems is described in detail in the thesis.The design scheme of this paper is proposed according to the specific situation and needs of the mine, but the scheme design idea and control method has general applicability and popularization significance.
