Belt conveyor is the production of the important transport equipment in coal production. With belt conveyor towards the trends of long span, large power, high speed. The purpose of energy-saving has attracted more and more attention in belt conveyor. The load of belt conveyor will change because of the unbalance of coal mining, but the operation of the belt conveyor always running at a fixed speed, which will reduce the power of belt conveyor and consume large amounts of electricity. This thesis puts forward the control scheme for energy saving through the analysis of the control system of the belt conveyor.Firstly, this thesis analyzes the main factors of influence power in belt conveyor running process, and the energy-saving theory, then puts forward the control algorithm of speed and load reasonable matching based on variable frequency and speed drive. On this basis, combined with the non-contact real-time detection system designed the overall control system. Then establishes the function requirement model, the static model and the dynamic model against the real system, and implements a prototype system software on the C#.Net platform programming.Finally, this thesis choose the fuzzy-PID logic control theory as its intelligent control algorithm, and carried on simulation experiment combined with MATLAB fuzzy logic control box and Simulink model, which carried on the beneficial exploration for the control of belt conveyor with large belt, high power, long distance.
