With the improvement of people’s living standards, food quality and safety is more and more attention by people, the popular ity of the network, as well as micro blog forum since the rise of the media, the high frequency of food safety incidents caused more people to pay attention to food quality and safety.How to ensure the food quality and safety has become an important issue when and the world. The establishment and improvement of food safety traceability system is an important means to effectively solve the food safety problems in China.In the existing methods of food quality and safety, the traceability system does not bind the consumer’s personal information and the purchased food information. Therefore, the regulatory platform is difficult to track food final flow,and And consumers generally do not have the habit of keeping retrospective small ticket, once the occurrence of food safety incidents, regulatory authorities and sellers cannot promptly notify consumers, difficult to quickly control the situation of development, Consumers may also suffer from huge losses. Aiming at the defects of the existing food quality and safety tracing method, this paper presents a new method for the traceability of food quality and safety. This method can not only improve the accuracy of the existing food traceability method, but also the existing food safety dating method from passive retrospective to active tracing, and enhanced the food safety warning mechanism.After the introduction of new food quality and safety tracing method, a new food traceability electronic scale system based on WiFi was designed by this paper, which was used as the sales terminal. First of all, this paper completed the circuit s design of electronic scale system of food traceability.These circuits mainly include the main control module circuit, memory module circuit, RFID module circuit, NFC module circuit, WiFi module circuit, other module interface circuit, power circuit. Secondly, based on the research of WiFi networking technology, this paper completed a WiFi network topology design for the food traceability electronic scale. Thirdly,This paper completes the program design of food traceability electronic scales. The program includes main program, weighing data acquisition subprogram, One-dimensional code and two-dimensional code read subprogram, RFID module subprogram to read and write, NFC module subprogram to read and write, active tracing subprogram WiFi module subprogram. Among them, in the WiFi module subprogram design, this paper formulates the seller commodity storage information frame and consumer checkout information frame, as the food traceability electron ic scale and food traceability workstation communication protocol. Finally, the WiFi network is verified by experiments, the results show that: WiFi technology can meet the food traceability electronic scale data transmission, the entire food traceability electronic scale WiFi network is feasible.This paper mainly has the following innovative points: 1. the active tracing method of food is proposed; 2. the one-dimensional code, two-dimensional code, RFID, NFC, embedded, WiFi and other technology is integrated into the food traceability electronic scales; 3. the Infrastructure network of WiFi is extended and the effect of ad hoc network is reached.
