As the combustion of hydrogen sulfide can generate sulfur dioxide and other harmful ma terials, the hydrogen sulfide must be removed before the use of biogas. Considering the hydro gen sulfide is a kind of poisonous gas, therefore the desulfurizatin system should be automate d, reduce artificial operation. The topic of this paper comes from a automation engineering co mpany biogas project, according to its original desulfu-rization sys-tem problem of the low-le vel of automation,design a set of automatic control system of gas desulfurization,so that it ca n be achieved the function of automatic control for desulphrization, display of equipment ope ration, adjustable speed for fan converter and fault alarm, in the condition of increasing th e level of automation, guarantees efficiency.It also ensure that the desulfurization syste m safe and stable operation.First of all,the paper get know the meaning of methane desulfurization and get fun ction analysis according to the biogas desulfurization process, then design the order of functi ons.Meanwhile,a design scheme of the control system for desul-phurization is made in the lig ht of the composition of the desulfurization system structure. At the same time, the key equi pment of the control system of biogas desulfurization has been selected which includes tou ch screen, analog I/O module,frequency converter, etc.Secondly,the paper designed software of this control system. Functionality of soft ware was divided into two parts and designed the ladder diagram. With the influence of concentration of different sizes, the opening of fan should be adjusted either in ord er to ensure that all of air which delivered into desulfurization tower was uesd compl etely, also improved the efficiency of the regeneration of desulfurized liquid. After the designed of start of desulfurization solution fluid replacement, drainage and circulatio n pump, the opening time should be designed depending on the different function.Then, it design the touch screen monitoring interface, and use MCGS configuratio n software complete the designing of the desulfurization control system monitors, In t he configuration environment, establish a new project and construct real-time database,t he master window and the equipment window, etc. Realize the monitoring of system operation in real time, alarm the occur situation in time.Finally, the system is tested in the factory and checked the problems that may ari se. The results shows that this control system could stably operationed and remove hy drogen sulfide efficiently.
