As a clean and renewable energy,ocean energy,which mainly consists of tidal energy,wave energy,current energy,offshore wind energy,offshore solar energy and so on,has attracted more and more worldwide concern and variety of ocean energy stations such as tidal power station,offshore wind power plant have been installed recent years.Considering all the ocean energy stations are aiming at collecting a single energy,this paper puts forward a concept of complex testing platform,on which multiple ocean energy generators could be installed onboard,and hope it would provide a reference for efficient utilization of multiple ocean energy in the near future.The major work in this paper includes:Determination of the preliminary scheme of the semi-submersible testing platform.Concidering the reasonable arrangement of multiple ocean energy generators,especially the effect and requirement of large wind turbine,determine the preliminary scheme,overall layout,subdivision and structure arrangement of the semi-submersible testing platform.Determine the basic plating thinkness,beams,girders of the structure in accordance with the relevant specification requirements of MODU(short for Mobile Offshore Drilling Units)rules of ABS(short for American bureau of shipping).Aslo,the mooring system is given.Calculation of intact and damage stability.Calculate the intact and damage stability of working condition and extreme condition through SESAM software,which is developed by DNV classification society.Check the stability results by ABS specification requirements for platform stability.Analysis of the motion response.Based on AQWA software,developed by ANSYS Company,the analysis of the motion response is calculated.Frequency domain analysis calculates the motion response of six degrees of freedom when the regular waves come from different directions with different frequencies and analyzes the effects of water entrapment plates.The time domain coupling analysis analyzes the motion response of six degrees of freedom over time.These analyses obtain the motion performance of the platform and calculate the mooring force.Analysis of yield strength.Based on ANSYS software,this paper analyzes the yield strength of the platform when it is in different working conditions,which must meet the requirements of ABS rules.
