An offshore installation platform for the converter valve is designed, its static characteristics and seismic response characteristics are studied, aiming to solve the long-distance transmission of wind power generation from the offshore to land in this thesis. The main research work and conclusions are as follows,(1)The structural design of an offshore installation platform for the converter valve is designed and its simulation model is established.Firstly, the structure of the platform is designed according to the basic design requirements of offshore engineering at home and abroad. The platform is selected as a jacket mode, its total height is 16900.00cm,the length of the pile leg below the mud surface is 5400.00cm,the deck height is 3600.00cm,and the area of the valve hall above the deck is30000000.00 cm~2.Secondly,the finite element model of the platform is established employing the SACS simulation software. Finally, the fixed load parameters of the platform, the environmental load parameters of the working area and the seabed soil information parameters are determined consecutive.(2)The static characteristics of an offshore installation platform for the converter valve is analysed.Firstly, the static strength analysis and collapse analysis of the platform are studied employing the SACS simulation software, the Unity Checks(UC),the reserve strength ratio(RSR)and the maximum offset of the platform components under different environmental loads are calculated consecutively.Secondly, the safety assessment, reliability analysis and risk assessment of the platform are calculated successively based on the data of static strength analysis and collapse analysis. The results show that the limit wave height in the working sea area of the platform is 1345.00cm,the maximum offset of the platform is 238.10cm,the maximum UC in the platform components is 0.9853,and the RSR of the platform to loads in all directions is greater than 1.6000.The maximum failure probability of the rod is 0.5497 and the maximum failure probability of the node is 0.4861.The platform meets the requirements of safety design, good reliability and low failure risk.(3)The seismic response of an offshore installation platform for the converter valve is analysed.Employing the SACS software, the modal analysis of the platform is studied, the seismic response is analysed of the platform under 8 ranks seismic fortification intensity is analysed, and main components of the platform is checked. The results show that the natural vibration period of the platform is very short, the maximum offset of the platform is 21.52cm,and the load of each component of the platform under seismic load is less than the allowable load. The maximum UC of rod is 0.9357,and the maximum UC of node is 0.9352.The platform meets the design requirements under 8 ranks fortification seismic intensity.
