Research On Test Technology Of Marine Flexible Pipe And Cable

Marine flexible pipe and cable is one of the indispensable part of the various kinds ofocean engineering development patterns.Marine flexible pipes and cables consists of flexible pipe,ocean optical-electrical cable and umbilical cable,etc.The common characteristics of flexible pipes and cables are tensile properties,flexibility requirements,pressure performance and function requirements,etc.Because of its common performance requirements,marine flexible pipes and cables are armoured by helix structure commonly.When research on the helix structure,its technology mainly includes theoretical analysis,numerical analysis and validation test.Validation test is an important component of the flexible pipe and cable technology,at the same time,flexible and cable validation test technology is a important part of ocean engineering industry.Advance of flexible and cable validation test research can make progress to the localization of ocean engineering equipments.In this paper,based on investigation in domestic and overseas research field as well as the industry standard,and refering to general test technology theory,combined with the flexible pipe and cable test research results,summarize the general system of flexible pipe and cable test technology.Based on hot research topic in domestic and overseas:analysis of bending behavior under axial tension during the runtime and analysis of extrusion simulation during installation;carry out validation test studies for the relevant design issue.Main contents:design test scenarios to study the effect of axial tension on the bending stiffness of pipe and cable before and after the sliding;design experiments to simulate radial extrusion condition during pipe and cable laying,research the most dangerous squeezing angle and maximum extrusion force.There is a certain guiding significance for the application and installation of pipes and cables in the research.The work of this paper makes progress to the current research of verification test of marine flexible pipe and cable,and it can make useful feedback to analysis and design of marine flexible pipe and cable.In addition,it has a certain significance for the development of test technology of marine flexible pipe and cable in our country.
