Compared with marine rigid pipes, marine flexible pipes are widely used in the submarine oil exploit system because of its big flexibility, good anti-corrosion, easy laying and similar tensible performance of rigid pipes. The marine flexible pipes are subject to failure rupure due to facing the complex sea conditions of wind, wave,flow and so on. The technology of marine flexible pipe in foreign country is relatively mature and the marine flexible pipes are used in the fields of marine horizontal pipes and marine risers. However, in our country, marine flexible pipes start late and technology develops slowly. Now, marine flexible pipes which are designed by our own country just are used in the marine horizontal pipes industry. If the marine flexible pipes want to be used in the marine risers, the fatigue analysis is essential.During the design process of marine pipe fatigue test, the fatigue strength analysis is important. In this paper, relevant analysis was carried out on the marine flexible pipe fatigue strength analysis.In this paper, the marine flexible pipe fatigue strength analysis mainly includes three aspects:First, the local static load analysis; Second, the fatigue life calculation; Third, the research about the manufacturing error on the calculation of curvature. In addition, based on the fatigue loads dynamic analysis, and also consider the relevant rules and practical tests need, to design the fatigue test working condition.In the fatigue life calculation, the paper use numerical simulation method to research it with the help of the Orcaflex software, ABAQUS software, and MATLAB software, which include the riser whole hydrodynamic analysis, equivalent the test load, calculate the stress amplitude, calculate the fatigue life. This work has an important significance on fatigue working design and fatigue mechine design.
