End fitting is an important equipment for connecting the flexible pipe cable and the upper end floating body.At present,the key to restrict the application of the pipe cable is the connection of the end fitting.Domestically,the design of the end fitting connection basically relies on experience,which results in waste of materials and unsafe guarantees.This article mainly studies end fitting design of flexible pipe cables.Summarize the research status at home and abroad,and summarize the internal connection mode of end fitting,and then study the main problems in the end fitting connection.First of all,it proposes its own design method for the connection design of flexible pipe and cable,and the connection method adopts glue injection bonding.Secondly,the hypothesis that the shear stress between the colloid and the metal is evenly distributed is proposed to carry out the rapid design of the end fitting connection.Then the connection design module is put forward,which is divided into five parts: Structure Design,material selection,injection molding process,surface treatment and performance analysis.Among them,the colloidal material determines the upper limit of the end fitting connection capacity,and the structural design is adaptive.Corresponding research is needed for the design theory.Through mechanical stress analysis,the failure criterion is the interface tangential stress and normal stress failure criterion,and the pull-out model is introduced to study related parameters.The main conclusions are as follows:1)Under the condition of the same cross-sectional diameter,the maximum shear stress of the adhesive layer shows a decreasing trend with the change of the lap length,but the change range is not large;the tail normal stress shows a decreasing trend with the change of the lap length,and the change range is large.This shows that the design of the lap length has limitations,and beyond a certain length,the tensile force of the steel wire does not change much.2)Under the same lap length,the maximum shear stress of the adhesive layer shows an increasing trend with the change of the cross-sectional diameter,but the fluctuation range is within 5 MPa.The normal stress at the tail shows an increasing trend with the change of the cross-sectional diameter,and the variation range is large.This shows that the larger the diameter of armor layer steel wire,the greater its tensile force.3)Under the condition of the same lap length,the maximum shear stress of the bonding layer shows a decreasing trend with the change of the wire spacing,and the overall change range is not large.The superposition of the normal stresses in the tail is more obvious,which is easy to cause damage.The effect of double wire drawing on wire spacing can refer to singlewire drawing.When the wire spacing reaches 5 mm,the effect of mutual influence between the steel wires is not significant.4)Under the condition of a certain length,the tensile force shows a linear change with the increase of the lap length.The formula in this article can be selected for design.Finally,based on the work in this paper,a 200-ton heavy towing cable end fitting was designed.The accuracy of the end fitting design is proved by the whole end fitting verification and prototype test.
