The characteristics of the degenerate repairable system are that,as the number of failures increases, the remaining life of the system becomes shorter and shorter after maintenance, and the time for each fault is longer and longer. In this paper, the geometric process theory is used to study the reliability and threshold replacement strategy of degenerative and repairable systems. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, the optimal replacement strategy of a single repairable system with limited working time is studied.Given a time threshold, stop the service replacement system when the operating time is below a given threshold or when the system reaches the set number of repairs.Based on the theory of renewal process, the reliability indexes such as average frequency and average availability of the system are obtained, and the function expression of the system's long-term operating unit time expectation is given. Finally, the influence of the lower threshold and the number of jobs on the optimal strategy is discussed by numerical simulation.Secondly, the optimal replacement strategy of a single repairable system with limited maintenance time is studied.Given the maintenance time of the threshold, when the maintenance time exceeds the threshold is to give up maintenance, replacement system. In order to extend the system life, save money, the system will be preventive maintenance.Based on the theory of renewal process, the reliability indexes such as average frequency and average availability of the system are obtained, and the expression of the expected efficiency function of the system is given. The influence of the two variables on the optimal maintenance strategy is discussed by numerical examples. Finally, the optimal replacement strategy of a single component repairable system with fault detection is studied. The system is checked at regular intervals, and the fault is repaired in the event of a failure. If there is no fault, preventive maintenance is performed. When troubleshooting, replace the system if the time exceeds the given threshold.Based on the theory of renewal process, the reliability indexes such as average frequency and average availability of the system are obtained, and the expression of the expected efficiency function of the system is given. The influence of the two variables on the optimal maintenance strategy is discussed by numerical examples.
