The maintenance policy of the repairable system is one of important in the research of reliability, the maintenance policy based on repair equipment is a new topic in the maintenance policy. In repairable model of maintenance policy, the repairable system consisting of one component, the cold standby system and shock model are three important repairable systems. On the base of the references, the paper has extended the three repairable system, made repair equipments as research objects, by using the geometric process and renewal process, given objective functions under different policies, obtained optimal policies of the systems, and checked the existence of optimal policies.Firstly, the maintenance policy for repairable system consisting of one component with waiting repair time is studied. We consider a kind of maintenance policy based on the time exceedingT that the system waits for repair every time and at failure N , whichever occurs first. The explicit expression of the long-run average benefit for repair equipment per unit time is derived. Finally, we calculate the optimal N *by the numerical example, and the average benefit is maximal.Secondly, the maintenance policy of cold standby repairable system based on repair Equipment is studied. Three kinds of maintenance policies are considered based on the failure number N for the component 1, the working ageT and( N ,T ). the explicit expressions of the long-run expected downtime for repair equipment per unit time on each maintenance policy are derived. We prove that the existence of the optimal N *is to make the long-run expected downtime for repair equipment per unit time the longest. Finally, the existence of optimal policy is demonstrated by the numerical example.Then, The maintenance policy for the shock model with different repair equipments is studied. A policy N is adopted by the Nth failure of the system, then the system long-run average cost per unit time is evaluated. Finally, an optimal policy N *be determined numerically.Finally, based on the above papers, the maintenance policy about two kinds of the model on rear-end is studied. By using the geometric process and renewal process, a policy N is adopted by the Nth failure of the system, then the explicit expressions of the vehicle owners'expected cost per unit time owing to the vehicle running in the long term are derived. Finally, the optimal strategies are obtained by the numerical example.
