There is a long history of gold exploration in Gansu province,but the total content of this kind of resource is limited,only about 500 tons.In recent years,the gold exploration in Huaxishan is relatively backward.Therefore,it is imperative to accelerate the development of gold exploration in this region.And it is important to use remote sensing technology in gold resources exploration.This Paper is completed on the basis of "Airborne hyperspectral measurements"which is subordinated to nuclear industry defense key laboratory..Huaxishan in gansu province is selected as the research area.The advanced airborne hyperspectral CASI/SASI data is used to extract gold information.In the processing of the data,the processing flow of CASI/SASI data is summarizes.The mineral extraction and mapping processing is systematically established on the basis of the analysis of rock and mineral spectral characteristics,as well as the methods of image enhancement and spectral analysis.The work of prospecting targetselection is carried out based on the remote sensing in altered mineral mapping and result of tectonic interpretation,as well as multiple geological information.It is concluded that,1?The characteristic of airborne hyperspectral CASI/SASI data is analysed.The processing flow of CASI/SASI data is summarizes which is suitable,especially the reconstruction of spectrum.Mainly includes:noise and bad band removal,radiation calibration,atmosphere correction,data dimension reduction,spectrum matching.etc.2?The mainly methods of spectrum matching recognition technology is compared.And MTMF is selected to finish mineral alter mapping.Nine minerals(mineral combination)are extracted in study area.Basically have:chlorite,muscovite,limonite,kaolinite,hornble,calcite,gypsum,serpentine,jarosite.etc.3?According to the characteristic of CASI/SASI data which is high spatial and spectral resolution,the more fine structure interpretation is given.The lithology interpreted based on spectral and spatial features of image.The interpreting marks is confirmed,and the strata and linear structure is interpreted using remote sensing image.4?Based on the above study,combined with multi-scale remote sensing abnormal screening and comprehensive study,eight remote sensing prospecting target areas are selected which is significant for gold mine geology survey and evaluation.
