In this dissertation,we mainly focus on the research of the plant and the plant communities in Yuntai Mountain, with the help of combining the filed investigation and analysis inside,we studied plant community structure, species diversity and plant resources. The main results are as follows:There were 814 species vascular plants belonging to 492 genera and 153 families in Yuntai Mountain, including 36 species pteridophytes in 27 genera of 16 families,12 species gymnospermaes in 9 genera of 4 families,643 species dicotyledons in 374 genera of 111 families and 123 species monocotyledoneaes in 82 genera of 22 families. In the vascular plants flora,in which family and genus were of scattered composition, the small genera and small families had a larger quantity than the big ones, especially with 1 species, respectively accounted for 60.08%of the total genera and 33.53%of the total families.Geographical component of the floristic was complexity, the plant community was characteristic of floristic transition from tropical to temperate composition at the level of family and genus. In the plant families, which showed an obviously tropical qualities, the families of tropical and temperate distribution took up 66.33%and 31.63%in the total, respectively, and in the genera, there were 36.98%and 60.23%,so the temperate element took dominant. There were two Chinese endemic families,Ginkgoaceae and Eucommiaceae, and 12 endemic genera of plants, such as Cunninghamia,Metasequoia,Ginkgoand and so on.The primitiveness in these families and genera was agree with the origin antiquity and longstanding of the plants. The plant community was a clear vertical structure which could be divided into arbor layer, shrub layer and herb layer as well as interstratum plants.Among them,Phanerophytes had the highest species, there were 288 species took up 35.46%in the total.Hemicryp tophytes was the second, with 266 species and took up 32.62%.Both of Hemicryp tophytes,Geocryp tophytes,Therophytes shared relatively small percentage, respectively accounted for 9.22%,12.29%and 10.40%.The structure of different communities was relatively obvious, different community types lead to huge different.Arborous layer had obvious advantages in evergreen coniferous forest and deciduous broadleaved forest. The advantage of Phyllostachys vivax community in bamboo forestisarbor layer, the advantage of Phyllostachys spectabilis community and Phyllostachys pubescens community isshrub layer. The plant communitycomposition was divided into evergreen coniferous forest, deciduous broadleaved forest and bamboo forest, which included 12 communities in Yuntai Mountain. The species with large importance value, such asQuercus acutissima,Quercus variabilis,Pinus densiflora,Pinus thunbergii,Rosa multiflora and so on,to be the dominant species in the arborous layer and shrub layer with high abundance and significance, while others with small numbers and maldistribution increased communities species diversity to some extent although in community composition played an unnecessary role.Generally, all layers of the community,Margalef richiness indexes were herb layer>shrub layer>arbor layer,so does in Shannon-Wiener indexes and Pielou evenness indexes.Simpson were shrub layer>arbor layer>herb layer. The floristic composition showed a transition from tropic to sub-tropic and temperate.Species diversity indexes research showed that larger difference in levels and types, deciduous broadleaved forest had higher diversity, evergreen coniferous forest be placed in the middle, and lowest diversity in bamboo forest.Similarity index of species composition with great different ranged from 0.11 to 0.74 in all forest communities, most of them were under 0.50.The plant resources was richness, but it need us to solve many unreasonable chaos.
