Multi-beam echo sounding technique and sub-bottom profile technique are two of the most important submarine detection technology. Integration Detection System set these two technology in one system to offer intuitive data information for benthonic resource exploitation, marine engineering geologic investigation, buried target detection, and so on. A powerful signal source is indispensable for Integration Detection System to work. This paper is actually dedicated to the research of system source design and implementation.In the first half of the paper, a detailed analysis and demonstration of signal source is carried out based on the architectural structure and functional requirements of Integrated Detection System. Two theoretical model of signal source transmitter are respectfully designed to meet different functional requirements of multi-beam echo sounding model and sub-bottom profiler model. Some theoretical analysis are put emphasis on in the paper while modeling each signal source transmitter, those are principles of multi-beam echo sounding technology, characteristic analysis of source signal based on parametric array and source modulation mode like oversampling technique of ?-? modulation, noise shaping technology and ?-? stability analysis. It then completes the Integration Detection System signal source design by incorporating the two emission sources models and simulating the model in Matlab.Afterwards, the signal source model is practically implemented on FPGA via logical programming. Each module of signal source is verified to be functional, such as serial communication module, instruction decode module, and phase-controlled emission module.Finally, signal source is debugged and verified on the system emission hardware platform for its better engineering applicability.
