The RGB laser projection scanning light source is one of the key components in the laser projection scanning display system.Its characteristics directly affect the working performance of the laser scanning projection system.Therefore,the laser projection scanning light source with excellent optical design performance of the RGB semiconductor laser has become the research of laser projection scanning display technology one of the key issues.In this study,we designed a laser projection light source system based on FPGA for the projection scanning display,which includes RGB semiconductor laser,current type laser optical power fast modulation driver,and temperature control module.The function of modulating optical power has the function of using digital circuit control to realize the conversion of image information into laser optical power scanning signal and its own constant temperature working function.And it has the characteristics of small size,stable performance,compact space and ensuring reliable operation of the system.In this thesis,we discussed the importance of RGB semiconductor laser light source in laser projection scanning display technology,introducing the development and research status of laser projection technology at home and abroad,analyzing the performance of RGB laser light source drive system,and designed and produced RGB laser projection scan based on FPGA Light source system.The main contents of this article includes :1.The RGB semiconductor laser drive and temperature control technology are studied.The constant power drive and constant temperature control scheme are adopted to overcome the problem that the laser output power varies greatly with temperature.In this paper,FPGA is used as the main control chip,which significantly improves the real-time performance and data throughput of the system control,making the laser power modulation speed faster.2.Designing an FPGA digital system,completing the FPGA design and development process mainly includes the following steps: design input,functional simulation,synthesis,place and route,static timing analysis,gate-level simulation,and board debugging.The measured optical power modulation speed is 3.2MHz.3.Using oscilloscope,ammeter,optical power meter and other instruments to build a test link,the performance test of the completed drive circuit is carried out.The experimental results show that the driver current accuracy error does not exceed0.2m A,and the stability can reach 0.042%.The temperature accuracy error does not exceed 0.2 degrees Celsius,and the temperature reading stability reaches 0.56%.The relationship between the optical power output of the three kinds of RGB laser light,the working current of the laser and the working temperature is obtained.The measured optical power modulation speed is 3.2MHz.
