Economic Development Zone of Taihe County that built near the Yinghe River is located in the midwest of Huaibei Plain in Anhui Province.At the present,life and industrial water mainly rely on the exploitation of loose pore water buried depth of 50~300m as a result of the water quality's constraints of Yinghe River.It has evoked some negative influence because of the loose pore water's exploitation,especially the over-exploitation of pore confined water.With the development,the water's requirement increases gradually.And it is necessary to rationalize the groundwater management based on the improvement process of regional water quality condtions and the implementation of the major water conservancy project--the project of leading water from Yangtze to Huaihe River.According to the total planning of development zone,the planning land of this area is 10.21 km2 and the total water requirement is 8×104 m3/d in programming year 2020.The water in the region can be divided into three categories: high quality water such as domestic water,medical water and food production water need 1.77×104 m3/d;the general industrial water consumption is 3.81×104 m3/d;the industrial water like cooling water of power plants that has a low demands on water quality need 2.42×104 m3/d.According to users' requirement and the water quality conditions of water resources,it will take water supply in different water resources and quality.The high quality water is provided by the pore confined water that the quality is high and stable.General industrial water is mainly provided by Yinghe River that the water quality has improved in recent years and by the pore phreatic water to replenish.It will be supplied by the reclaimed water that produced by sewage treatment plant in development zone that has low requirements for water quality.Under the principle of water supply in different water resources and quality,it takes the greatest extent to meet the water demand as the goal and takes that don't form groundwater overdraft as constraint.It compares and selects the groundwater development and utilization plan at present stage.There will be a significant impact on the form of supply and demand of water resources because of the implementation of the project of leading water from Yangtze to Huaihe River.It will further adjust the groundwater development and utilization plan for the future based on the project.The groundwater numerical simulation model is established by use of the software Visual MODFLOW.It can complete the comparative and selective settings of wells' exploitation quantity and process and the amount of exploitation strata based on the existing confined water exploitation wells and combined with the viable distribution of phreatic water exploitation wells.Set up four different mining schemes,determining that before the implementation of the project of leading water from Yangtze to Huaihe River,the pore confined water exploitation quantity is 10397 m3/d and pore phreatic water exploitation quantity is 14882 m3/d.But after the implementation of the project,water distribution that assign to development zone is 16782 m3/d.In addition,the pore confined water exploitation quantity is 2310 m3/d and pore phreatic water exploitation quantity is 6187 m3/d.
