River is very important resources,especially for human early civilization has great value.In recent years,because of the need of ecological environment construction and the development of science and technology,the research on root system slope protection has become the hot point of the root system,plant root can significantly improve soil strength has been recognized by most scholars.One of the main ecological functions of the tree roots is solid soil,including strengthening the soil surface resistance,preventing layer surface erosion,the root system between trees and trees,and constitute a strong "steel bar" network.It has unique theoretical and practical significance to understand the characteristics and essence of root solid action.So how does the plant root expand? What about the root mechanics strength of different diameter? This is the question that this study needs to answer.The results of this experiment are as follows:(1)To study the composition and distribution of root system of different age,the total number of root diameter,Root is greater than 1cm and total length increased with the age of Salix Salix matsudana.The root amplitude of Salix Salix matsudana can be predicted by the relationship between horizontal root and oblique root diameter and root length.The root length and volume ratio of different root length were larger than that of root length,and the study proved that root length ratio and volume ratio can accurately describe the morphological structure of Salix Salix matsudana.(2)Root vertical distribution characteristics of Salix Salix matsudana root system,the root length of root length increased first and then decreased later,the root content of 0 ~ 20 cm soil layer was mostly horizontal root,20 ~ 40 cm next,mostly oblique rooting,only part of the soil layer in 40 ~ 60 cm soil layer had a few vertical root distribution;The root length density,dry matter and root volume ratio of different ages increased with the increase of soil depth,and reached the maximum value between 0 ~ 20 cm soil layer.(3)To study the tensile strength of root system of different diameter,it is found that the maximum tensile force of Salix root system is affected by diameter,and the maximum tensile force is positively correlated with diameter.The larger the diameter,the greater the single root tensile force.The maximum tensile strength and diameter of root system of Salix Salix matsudana was negatively correlated with the diameter,and negatively correlated with the scale.With the increase of the root diameter of willow,the maximum tensile strength decreases,and the tensile strength of the unit area is stronger.(4)The factors affecting the tensile strength of root system were studied.the sensitivity of root system to external force increased with the increase of diameter,and the sensitivity to pull was stronger in the case of short root length.
