Through the analysis of the application of diamond bits at home and abroad and the microhardness?friction and wear properties of brazed sintered diamond drill matrix.Two kinds of sintering temperature curves with brazing sintering temperature of 1000 ? are set up in the vacuum brazing sintering machine.The brazing diamond drill bits of three different ingredients are brazed and sintered,and the drill bits of three different ingredients after cutting are microstructural observation and analysis.The main conclusions and progress are as follows:(1)Through the electron microscopy and the analysis of the matrix of the application of diamond bit at home and abroad,the domestic drill bits BB and TB are all Fe-based alloys,the foreign drill HB4 matrix is Cu-Sn based alloy,the drill HB10 matrix is Ag-Cu based alloy,four drill bits are all through the mechanical package in order to enhance the diamond holding force,through different carcass height,lip design,carcass hardness,diamond concentration,etc.to adapt to different formation needs;through the diamond particle corrosion analysis,drill BB and drill HB4 through the diamond particles in the surface coating W method to enhance the carcass wettability of the diamond,but also effectively prevent the sintering process diamond surface due to the high temperature caused by the graphitization.(2)The microhardness of M7,M11 and M50 containing different hard phase metal and bonded metal carcass are studied.The microhardness of matrix is 238.35 HV,302HV and 289.18 HV respectively.After friction and wear experiments,the wear amounts of M7,M11 and M50 are 114 mg,34.5mg and 59.5mg respectively,Not only the overall hardness of the matrix is changed,but also get different wear properties of the matrix;Through the study of the joint between the brazing filler metal and the steel substrate,the local melting and the diffusion of the elements occur during the brazing to form a better bonding layer,which improves the service life of the drill bit.(3)Different temperature curves are set up in the vacuum brazing sinter machine,and three kinds of drill bits with different matrix proportioning are sintered.The SEM analysis of the drill bit after exposure shows that the brazing filler metal is combined with the chemical metallurgy of diamond and climbed along the surface of diamond,good wettability to diamond,and the morphology of diamond particles is complete,the abrasive is higher.(4)In the process of brazing,the main migration of certain elements exist in the soldering process,Cr elements are aggregated onto the diamond surface to react with the diamond to form a chromium carbide compound is the main reason for the increase in diamond holding force.
