Yuqia Basin attached to the Qinghai Province,it is a small inland arid basin. The basin is far from the ocean, the climate is dry,the ecological environment is very fragile.Located in the northwest arid area in Yuqia basin, considering the local life water demand, industrial and agricultural water demand and the amount of surface water resources and groundwater resources and ecological water needs, determine the development and utilization of water resources plan, which can effectively promote the sustainable development of local economy,in addition, can keep healthy. The development of the local ecological environment.According to the research on geological setting and hydrogeological characteristics. The paper built the hydrogeological conceptual model and mathematical model, simulated the groundwater in Yuqia Basin by three dimensional numerical simulation technology, evaluated the groundwater recharge resources, allowable exploitation quantity.By means of groundwater numerical modeling, the amount of groundwater recharge resources under the current year situation was determined as 5793.98 ×104m3/a,the amount of groundwater storage resources was calculated as 8.05×108 m3.The decrease proportion of suitable area of wetland and the pumping ability of water lifting equipment was adopted as the constraint condition, the allowable groundwater exploitation quantity on the current year situation was determined as 3.6×104 m3/d.Based on the above results, the water source field and its exploitation scheme was designed. The research results can be provided as a reference for regional groundwater development and ecosystem protection.
