Space electric field is an important physical parameter of space environment,to understand and study that need to take great effort on the electric field.The detection of space electric field is mainly carried out by the electric field instrument,which is equipped with a platform of satel ite or a sounding rocket.Double-probe Electric Field Instrument(EFI)is the most commonly used space electric field instrument,whose electric field measurement results obtained by the potential of double probes and the distance.In the actual work,the state of boom which hold the electric field instrument may get disturbance,and the distance as well as potential data will be affected.According to the data of voltage on single probe,also the actual deflection angle obtained using magnetometer data,the equivalent distance and roll angle can be calculated.It is concluded that the measured electric field vector and the induced electric field produced by the speed of the platform and the geomagnetic field are similar.And the fact that the real space electric field is relatively small is in accord with the model data.These can prove the effectiveness of this correction method.This paper introduces the present situation of space electric field detection,il ustrates the main principle of the electric field instrument and data correction steps.Processed data as well as schematic diagrams are given in order to better overview.Finally,the correction results are analyzed,conclusions and suggestions for improvement are put forward.
