NiO?Nickel oxide?is a p-type transparent conducive oxide and wide band-gap energy range from 3.0-4.0eV.On the condition of room temperature,it is usually existence in the form green ore,its molecular weight is 74.70.it has a cubic crystalline structure and the characteristics of good chemical stability,good optics,eletricity,and magnetism.Compared with the ZnO,the energy gap of NiO is much bigger,but it also can't meet the following fields:the light detector,electrochromic display,solar cell,and so on.Hence,the structure and photoelectric characteristics of NiO has great influence on the property of NiO-based device,which also has of great research significance.This thesis summarized the main property and application of NiO,and compared the distinction of various NiO film preparation method.Because of easy-operation and low-cost,this thesis adopted sol-gel spin coating method,and the nickel acetate was regarded as the precursor solution,ehich repectively prepared the NiO film on the glass substrate and ITO substrate,similarly,this paper studied technological conditions?number of spin,sol concentration,and substrate?,which had effect on the property of NiO film.On the basis of the optimization of technology parameters.the magnesium acetate was used as precursor solution on the glass substrate,which prepared Mg and mixed NiO film.Adopting X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscope,UV-VIS spectrophotometer and other measuring ways,this thesis analyzed the crystal quality?surface topography,and light transmissivity of the prepared samples.The experimental results showed that under the condition of the 0.3 mol/l of sol solubility and the third times of spin on the glass substrate,the prepared NiO film would optimally grow with the diffraction peak of NiO?200?,and its surface was smooth and plain,and the optical transmission was better,the optical band gap value was 3.95eV,but the prepared film was made on the ITO substrate,which was worse.The experiment preliminarily showed that the chang of Mg2+'s dosage concentration was able to impove the crystal quality of film,which also could make the surface of film compact and smooth,and the particles became uniform.Also the optical transmission has reached 85%,and with the growth of dosage concentration,the optical band gap value became bigger.
