Research And Test Of Thematic Web Mapping Based On NewMap Server Architecture

Modern cartography is facing the transformation and development of cartography process information,emphasizing geographic information service as the core of the data acquisition,processing and analysis of service integration,which is to deepen and beyond the traditional cartography and digital map.Thematic map is an important branch of cartography,also towards the direction of information,it also has been applied and expanded further in all walks of life.At present,the application of thematic maps presents a trend of popular development.However,the contradiction between the lack of specialized mapping knowledge of general public and the expertise of professional mapping software has made it difficult for the public to make thematic maps.Therefore,based on analyzing the disadvantages of the online mapping products deeply,on the basis of the "mapping service" concept,and discussing the related drawing theory,visualization,mapping mode and process,finally,Finally,based on NewMap Server software,a set of Online Thematic services and Online Thematic Mapping API as one of the solutions is put forward,based on the research of online thematic mapping service oriented system,and has been successfully used in a series of project development.On this basis,a service-oriented online thematic mapping system is designed and implemented,and it has been successfully applied in a series of project development.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Analyzing the existing theories and methods of thematic mapping,comparing the thematic mapping model and the front visualization technology,and propose a suitable online thematic mapping technology program and mapping process.(2)Based on NewMap Server architecture,designing and implementing the online mapping services,and describing the use of examples and the meaning of parameters online mapping service interface operation mechanism and thematic mapping service,configuration files etc.(3)In order to complete the processing requirements of online thematic data,the encoding and decoding method of spatial coordinate data and the hierarchical processing method of thematic data are proposed(4)To realize the visualization of the thematic data,based on the ECharts class library and Canvas features,to achieve the encapsulation of nine kinds of thematic mapping interfaces,and to complete the visualization of thematic data.(5)Designing and developing the Online Thematic Mapping prototype system,completing the application of thematic data uploading,service calling and online visualization of thematic symbols.
