In recent years,with the acceleration of China's industrial development process,the rapid development of China's economy,copper demand continues to grow,the contradiction between supply and demand pf copper is prominent,the urgent need for ore prospecting.The author participated in reconnaissance project ofcopper-polymetallic mineralization in 427.5 heights of Aihui district of Heihe city,based on field geological work and researching indoor existed geological data,combined with the theory of petrology,mineralogy,geochemistry and geophysics,etc. Study to the relationship between geological structure,formation lithology and copper mineralization.In order to enrich and develop the regional metallogenic theory,to make a breakthrough in prospecting work.This research mainly uses methods of 1:20000 soil geochemical survey,1:20000 high-precision magnetic measurement,1:20000 IP intermediate gradient,induced polarization sounding,trenching and drilling,etc.Determine to the metallogenic geological background and ore controlling factors in study area. Study on the distribution law of orebody(mineralization).Find out ledge,minralization alteration zone,and distribution range,scale,occurrence,mineral composition of orebody(mineralization).Through the study of metallogenic regularity and prospecting mark of the study area,summarize to geophysical and geochemicaldata and field geological work, comprehensive metallogenic geological background,obtain to four favorable conditions for ore prospecting:(1) The location, which develop of tectonic (cryptoexplosive) breccia;(2) Hydrothermal alteration,inner zone is silicification-carbonate, pyritization-chalcopyrite;outter zone is chloritization,epidotization, carbonation and sericitization based propylitization combination,copper ore body often exist in the inner of alteration zone,outter zone is indirect prospecting mark,inner zone is direct prospecting mark;(3) To find a favorable location for copper deposits is the combination anomaly center of Au,Ag,Cu,W,Mo oranomaly center of Cu;(4) To find a favorable location for copper deposits is local gravity high anomaly in positive magnetic anomaly and low anomaly area.Finally.based on an analysis of occurrence site of copper ore body,geological structure,lithology,wall rock alteration characteristics,etc,conclude genetic types of ore deposits is porphyry hydrothermal altered copper deposit.alteredandesite is mother rock,heat source for mineralization is intrusive activitiesof sub volcanicrock,which happen to Early Crataceous and Early Jurassic,North West trending tectonic belt is leading and contain the ore structure in study area.
