Rhopalidae belonged to Pentatomorpha of Heteroptera.The family were consisted by the following two tribes: Chorosomini and Rhopalini.There were total 18 genera,in which about 210 species had been documented in this family.Most of them were distributed in the Palaearctic,Neotropical,Ethiopian and Oriental realm.About 69 species of 15 genera were contained in Palaearctic realm.The systematic classification of the Rhopalidae distributed in the Mongolian plateau were made in the past three years.There were total 2 tribes,9 genera,in which about 31 species were discovered,including 5 new recorded species of China: Chorosoma gracile Josifov,1968 and Chorosoma schillingii(Schilling,1829),Brachycarenus languidus(Horváth,1891),Corizus fenestella Horváth,1917 and Stictopleurus riveti(Royer,1923),and a new species: Stictopleurus Xinjiangensis sp.Nov.in Rhopalidae.In this thesis,the two tribes of Rhopalidae from the Mongolian plateau:Chorosomini and Rhopalini were described in detail,all their external genitals were dissected and plotted,and also the shapes were photographed.The catalogue and retrieval list of classification of Rhopalidae from the Mongolian plateau were composed as well.
