At present, China is in a period of rapid urbanization development, A large number of rural population from country to city, provide a large amount of human resources for the development of the city, with the development of social economy and productive forces, people's labor production efficiency is improved. Our work, study and living place is changing every day, just like the slogan of Wuhan City-‘Wuhan, Different Everyday'. Cities with the rapid changes make the evolution of landscape pattern is accelerating, the obvious feature is that the urban construction land is increasing, the natural factors of shrinking, like mountain, water, forest, farmland area. On the one hand, people's lives are becoming more and more convenient, on the other hand, the quality of people's life has been declining. Study landscape pattern evolution is advantageous to enact environmental protection law in the scientific way, can provide the government with the strategy to solve the problem of environmental pollution. The main results of this paper are as follows.(1) From 1990 to 2015 for 25 years, the evolution of landscape pattern in Wuhan is becoming faster and faster. By analyzing the change rate of different land types in five periods of 1990-1995,1995-2000,2000-2005,2005-2010,2010-2015. It can be clearly detected that the change rate of different types for land area during the period of 2000-2015 was significantly faster than that of 1990-2000. We found that the evolution of landscape pattern is in accelerating process.(2) The landscape heterogeneity decreased of Wuhan during the study period, through the calculation of landscape pattern software Fragstats we found: patch connectivity continuous decrease during the period of 1990-2015, Shannon's diversity index continuously decrease, indicate the landscape diversity has reduced.(3) Landscape pattern evolution affect ecological environment quality in Wuhan. From the results of the ecological environment quality index calculation based on the regulations of ecological environmental quality assessment technology(HJ192-2015), the overall evaluation of the ecological environment quality is not optimistic, and from 1990 to 2015, the ecological environment quality index calculation results continue to decline, it also shows that the landscape pattern evolution in one direction which is not conducive to biological diversity and ecosystem stability.(4)The research found that after the superposition of the greenway network, the connection between the patches increased and landscape diversity improved, landscape pattern has been optimization are optimized.
