Urban Green space landscape is one of the urban landscape which is coupling nature and manpower, its ecological benefits, social and economic benefits, play very important roles in improving and restoring the quality of urban environment, beautifying the community environment, and promoting economic development throughout the city in addition.Chongming island, which locates at the center of the east coast of China, will be the vital social economic support to shanghai in the future. According to the "the overall development plan of Chongming Island", in 2020, Chongming Island will become a ecological island and Shanghai's most beautiful "sea garden", which is beautiful in enviorment, developed in economy, prosperity in culture, perfect in securityand achieving the integration between rural and urban.Five eco-cities, including Paris, Shenzhen, Singapore, Vienna and Berlin have been selected for study. Our research is based on the latest land use maps and functional area maps of these cities. Four landscape metrics, Percentage of Landscape (PLAND), Patch Density (PD), Largest Patch Index (LPI) and Connectance Index (CONNECT) have been singled out for analysis with GIS and Fragstats. Moreover, based on Percolation Theory, using GIS and land use data, combining land Eco-Suitability, feasibility in society and economy of turning to greenland and eco-sensitivity, analyzed and compared the feasibility between the situation based on the current state and on the plan of Chongming Island. The purpose of this article is testing the feasibility on the plan of Chongming Island in the round, and providing gist to its optimization of greenland pattern.The main results are as followings:1. That PLANDs as well as PDs of each city are relatively high, while the CONNECTS are low. The green space landscape pattern of each functional area exhibit obvious differences. Comparing with other areas, PLAND of open space of each city is the highest of all, between 60% and 90%. Its PD is the lowest while LPI and CONNECT are the highest, which indicates the wholeness of green space and helps improve the influence of open space in the city. PLAND of commercial area is generally the lowest, but with relative high PD, their CONNECT is even bigger than that of the whole city, which implies the important role of "step stones" of small green patches in the city. Except for Vienna, PLAND value of residential area is between the two mentioned areas above and is always lower than the whole city level. But with a relative higher PD, its CONNECT is higher than that of the whole. About chongming island, its PLAND is 18.1%, PD is very high while the CONNECT is very low. The PLAND of Chongdong is high, and its LPI is the highest in all the subareas, PD in Chongxi and Chongbei is high, LPI in Chongnan area is lowest; PLAND of Chongzhong is low, and its LPI is also small.2. The feasibility on the plan of Chongming Island improves much. There are five zones ploted according to the feasibility condition. Thereinto, the coverage of priority green zone, green zone and adding green zone increase on the plan, especially the adding green zone increase much. The reinforcing management zone and the standing zone reduce.3.The length of the corridor based on the current state is 68.34km, while it's 76.07km based on the plan. Because of the change of greenland landscape, the corridor from Dongping Forest Park to the wetland park transfer from the north to the south, and it's more close to human habitation and easier to meet people recreation needs.
