Temporal And Spatial Pattern Evolution Of Marine Economic Transformation Effect In China

At present,global access to the economic recovery of the international financial crisis,which is also a major adjustment period of the international industrial division pattern,as well as the pattern of trade,the focus of the world economy,and the contrast of economic power.The overall economic growth of advanced economies is still relatively weak.The change of the global demand structure and various forms of trade protectionism have resulted in China's export growth slowdown in terms of external demand,which has a great influence on the coastal areas of China,especially the development of its marine economy.At the same time,the rapid growth of the coastal areas of China since the execution of the Reform and Opening-up has led to high resource environment load,and contradictions among resources,environment and economic development are prominent.At present,the transition of the domestic economy into a "new normal" economy has been marked by rapid growth.It is not only indicated that the growth rate of the economy may slow down,but also shown that the power of economic growth will be converted and the mode of development will change.Marine economy is an export-oriented economy;coastal areas are the pioneer of China's economic development;and the marine economy's improvement of quality,efficiency,restructuring and development is imminent.Due to the theoretical system of Marine economy is not yet perfect,for Marine economic transition has many understanding,this paper used the theories of Regional economics,industry economics,quantitative economics,sustainable development,ecological economics,Marine science and technology innovation,optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,and determined the concept of transformation,economic transformation,Marine economic transformation and transformation effect,thought that Marine economy transition refered to the fundamental change of Marine economic development mode,Marine resources development and utilization ability,population employment level,development supporting system and the Marine ecological environment.This is development process of the Marine economy from the quantitative to qualitative.Comprehensiving domestic and foreign to the correlation study of Marine economy transformation,this paper takes the 11 coastal provinces and municipalities of China(not including Hong Kong SAR,Macao SAR or the Taiwan region)as the research object,builds the index system of effect of China's marine economic transformation,including Marine economic development degree,Marine economic transformation degree,development condition support degree,Marine industry employmentdegree,the intensive utilization degree of Marine resources,Marine ecological environment responsivity,and performs research on the effect of marine economic transformation in China from 2001 to 2011 using the comprehensive evaluation method of combination rough sets with the Grey theory.Then the paper analyzes temporal and spatial pattern evolution based on the results,by using kernel density estimation model and geographic information system(GIS)technology,thus revealing the inner change rules,and determining the following conclusions:(1)At the national level,China's overall marine economic transformation was concentrated in the low area from 2001 to 2010.After 2010,all regions have achieved significant results in terms of transition,and the gap of transformation of the marine economy has narrowed,but an overall gap still exists.(2)From the dimension of view,the marine economic development degrees maintain a steady improvement,but the spatial pattern of difference has not changed significantly;the marine economic transformation degrees,development condition support degrees,resource intensive utilization degrees and ecological environment responsibility have shown positive trends in the space,and changed quickly;the effects of transformation were significant;the marine industry employment degrees presented a reverse trend in the space;and it was shown that the transformation had a "squeezing out effect" on marine industry employment,as well as an important impact on marine industry employment.(3)From regional level,the pearl river delta economic zone and the Yangtze river delta economic zone have been keep the position of the leading Marine economic transformation,the bohai sea economic zone transformation effect is unstable,the transformation of channel west bank economic zone has a slowing trend,the transformation effect of the beibu gulf economic zone has improved slightly,but there is still a large gap with other regions.(4)The spatial pattern of the differences of marine economic transformation were the result of many factors.The main factors include resource endowment,location conditions,the foundation of the industrial system,and hinterland economy.In the future,national policies,the level of Marine science and technology innovation,ocean consciousness and marine management system will be the new factors affecting the marine economic transformation of coastal provinces and cities in China.
